Fun shoot at Ikea!

Yes Ikea... well the parking lot at least... well at least until we were kindly asked to leave the premises for insurance and liability reasons , sheesh. I think the security guard who asked us to leave was enjoying watching us for the first 15 minutes before he actually approached us though:)

Toni and I had talked about this idea since last summer and we finally go to do it. Nothing super special, just shooting for fun. For the first 30 minutes we got perfect sunset light then once it got a little darker I had the opportunity to shoot with my new Alien BeeVagabond II and softbox (with a 580 EX as my secondary).

Tye & Nuria

These two are an inspiration to us. The amount of affection between them and their energetic bundle of joy Gracie is just so special. I hope when K and I have kid(s) we can do the same. Over the last few months we've had the chance to get to know them as friends and were so happy to have had the opportunity to do their wedding. It was not just beautiful and touching but extremely fun! I even did a session of the 10+ groomsmen playing basketball early in the a.m. prior to the wedding - pics coming soon.

Congratulations again Tye and Nuria - we'll see you guys soon :)

It was early and it was cold but Tammy and Lawrence were a great couple who even took their jackets off to get some great shots. We had a great time doing their engagement session at peak bloom last Saturday.
