Last November a fantastic photographer and friend, Martha FitzSimon, photographed us on our anniversary. Martha's images are always clean, natural, and beautiful... and that comes with a side of charming personality. :) She captured the real "us" - silly, lovie, and happy.
Martha, thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Mya & Dave - Esession
What a pleasant way to end a Sunday evening. Mya and Dave, what a super cute and affectionate couple! We spent the late afternoon roaming, chatting and doing a good deal of laughing in the Capitol Hill area. The weather was PERFECT (why cant it always be?) and the couple fit the bill. We ended our evening at Belga Cafe in Eastern Market for an awesome meal sampling some authentic, and amazing, Belgium Lambic beer.
You'll be seeing more of Mya and Dave soon for their October wedding!
Enjoy

Olivia & Yujin - Esession in DC
Good ole DC.
What a day! We started out our first few minutes of shooting with a little verbal altercation with a wonderfully inebriated man. We then walked through a few alleys, one with that ever so welcoming yellow 'Police crime scene tape.' Then got a little bit of "Love Danger" :) Love that shot.
Afterwards we took a little trip down the road to Chinatown and made use of some of those cool hidden spots we discovered some time ago. Throughout the entire day both Olivia and Yujin kept both a serious (in a good way) and smiley face on tap for some excellent shots.
The evening ended with a lovely dinner at Matchbox - however I'm a little mad they 'ran out' of the Hell or High WaterMelon beer!
