Emily and Chris, Happily Ever After!

Dreams do come true...

Emily had always dreamed of getting married in a tent and when she found the Belmont - she knew it was the place. An historic mansion surrounded by gardens, trees, fields, and of course, a tent. She walked down the aisle on her father's arm, something that most of us take for granted, but in this case it was a hard-fought victory, as her dad was recovering from serious health concerns. Emotions ran high, lightened a little by her dad's high-five in place of a kiss, as he handed her over the man waiting there to marry her - Chris. I'm not sure Emily even dreamed of someone who is such a good fit for her. He's warm, thoughtful, supportive, and loves her to death... exactly what my sweet friend deserves.

Congratulations you two! May your happiness continue to inspire us all!

Becky & Serban at Savage Mill

Our second Esession this weekend and what a GREAT way to end it. We not only got to photograph and laugh with Becky and Serban but we were also joined by our new assistant Susie! If you are one of those super attentive people with an out-of-this-world memory you'll remember Becky and Serban from Scott and Liz's wedding a few years back... Well heres a cute story. Becky and Serban met for the first time, and were actually 'set up' to meet at Scott and Liz's wedding. Clearly it was a match made in heaven at a wedding.

And guess what? Some time later we are the lucky ones who get to shoot them again! I like it when things work out like this :)
