Website Launched!!!

...And I'm barely excited :) probably because I just got off of a long on call week at my job plus Kristiaan is leaving in less than 24 hrs to Turkey for 3...whole...weeks!

So back to the site, yes it is finally launched after spending about a month and half fiddling with Flash. It was really hard to choose pictures for the site because a few months of sorting through literally thousands of pictures my eyes tend to get numb. I'm sure within the next couple months we'll be adding and pulling many images as we build our portfolio more professionally.

For now just enjoy and please let us know if there are any mistakes or confusing material!

Labor of Love

So yesterday K and I met with Stacey from Labor of Love photography and we all clicked rather well. In fact I'll be working my first wedding with her as an apprentice on July 7th! Once K gets back from Turkey she'll be up next.

Oh JOY!

I figured out my Flash dilemma on my own and of course the problem was pebkac'd :)

Just for that I feel like sharing a picture I took over the weekend a little after a horrendous storm passed through my area. While I was drive home in this crazy thunderscrumble I kept thinking of the amazing lightening shots I'd capture but of course by the time I got to my condo it has subsided and I only got 1 relatively decent shot:

Day 1 post:

-We shot our first wedding on June 2nd and we're still working on narrowing down our pics. The wedding was simply AMAZING! Definitely would like to continue down this path.

-I've set myself a deadline of June 20 for the official website launch of www.eYeWonderPhotography.com . I'm very close to completing but I'm having issues with using the Loader component within Flash 8 in conjunction with SSP, if there are any flash gurus out there I could sure use some help :).
