Jessica & Montrel: Part II

Forgive the MASSIVE post but I just can't agonize any further over cutting down my images! We took a record number of photographs at this incredible wedding and we are beyond excited to share them. Lionel posted his Sunday (2 posts down) and here is my contribution...

Jessica and Montrel - thank you so much for your warmth, your generous spirits, and for your gorgeous wedding. We wish you all the blessings your hearts can hold.

The Fang Family: 50 years and counting

I had the pleasure of photographing The Fang Family one hot June morning. They had come from all corners of the country to celebrate their parents' 50th wedding anniversary - as a wedding photographer, this is what I want to see! You hear that brides and grooms?? We want to see you happy and healthy after 50 years together, enjoying your children and grandchildren. Now get to it!!

I thought they were going to be formal portraits but as you will see in the slideshow - this family is much too fun for that. They are wonderful and it was my privilege to photograph them together on such a special occasion. Hope you enjoy them!

Jessica & Montrel - Married! 6/26/10

Elegant, delicately beautiful, pure. Sharp, handsome, proud and strong. Jessica and Montrel respectively! Then you add a mix of awesome, caring, thoughtful and fun family for the recipe for a perfect wedding!

We met with Jessicas mom and sister for our first client meeting and instantly fell in love with them and kept our fingers crossed that we'd be the lucky photographers to shoot their wedding (clearly you see we were the lucky ones). See, Jessica and Montrel were out of state but were having their wedding in DC. It was mom and sisters duty, since they're local, to take care of most of organizing the big day, including finding us. Well I definitely think it was a perfect match! So perfect in fact that they helped inspire this post (http://eyewonderphotography.blogspot.com/2010/06/right-business.html).

A big thanks to NeShea from J Witt Events for organizing all the amazing pieces to this spectacular day!
