Anne and Mike - Married!

First wedding of 2011 and what a way to start things off! You may remember Anne and Mike from last year's Cherry Blossom Esession... Interesting, I just realized they were our first Esession of 2010. Go figure :) Also, previously posted was Anne's amazing Bridal Session...

Anne is a simply stunning.
Notice I ended that sentence with a period as opposed to rambling on?

Mike exudes confidence, composure and his love for Anne is ever so evident.

While a bit chilly, it was a perfect day - honestly though, how is a wedding not a perfect day? We began our day in Arlington, hopped over to the Cherry Blossoms (yes, during peak, on a weekend) and ended the night in style at the Carlyle Club. Anne and Mike, we want to thank you again for letting us be part of your day and we wish you THE BEST!

Details:

Now some of our favorites from their day...

Anne and the Woolly Mammoth...

I cant believe we are four years into shooting weddings and this was our first Bridal Session! It was well worth the wait...

Anne is a lawyer with a theater background and she wanted a "backstage" theme for her shoot. At first we were a little worried because most of the local theaters/performance centers were charging astronomical prices or flat out told us no... Oh well Annes connection at the Wooly Mammoth came through and what a shoot it was!

I dont even think I need to go into all the details about Anne being a performer or choreographer or her amazing hidden talent at being a model... knowing exactly what we wanted, when we wanted it without instruction. Yeah I wont mention any of that, but I will say that her shoes were awesome and let the pictures speak for themselves!

p.s. Ashley - we love you back! Thanks for cheering Anne (and us) on!
