Rob & Alison - rainy and perfect!

This past August I shot a wedding with Labor of Love Photography as a second shooter. Stacey, the owner, has the best personality - always a hoot to shoot with. Plus, she hooked me up with this gorgeous wedding... so gorgeous I had to blog it!

Rob and Ali met in a class at Georgetown University. 10 years later, the priest who taught that class ended up performing their ceremony at the Dahlgren Chapel on campus so it was especially meaningful. The couple had planned photos at the monuments prior to the ceremony but it was pouring rain that day. I would have been devastated, but sweet Ali didn't pout for one second. She was there to marry the love of her life with all their loved ones present and as long as that hadn't changed, she was happy. Instead of the monuments, we shot the "first look" and portraits in the St. Regis Hotel . After the ceremony it was on to the fabulous Museum for Women in the Arts. Ali danced all night with her grandparents to hip hop music. So adorable!

Jamie Sears of A Simply Chic Event did a fabulous job planning the event. The escort card set up was the cutest I've ever seen. It was stunning - a perfect wedding! And the weather cleared up just in time for a sparkler send-off!!! Here are some of my images from the day. Enjoy!

This is actually my favorite photograph of the year. Just LOVE it!

The McGrath Family

The EyeWonder family is growing! Yay!! Tye and Nuria are one of our first and favorite couples... and now they have a darling mini-McGrath! We had the pleasure of a visit over the holidays. Baby Annette is a doll!!! While older sister Gracie made breakfast with mom (yum), Lionel and I made photos of this adorable family. See for yourself...

(By the way, breakfast was fabulous and it inspired us to take our breakfasts to the next level! Seriously, we started trying to make our omelets as good as Nuria's and added heart-shaped pancakes.)
