Rain + Lighting + People Willing to Get Wet = I LOVE Lionel's Family

Last weekend we wanted to practice some lighting techniques in a cool industrial area we found. So we asked Lionel's parents and his aunt and uncle if they would help us out and be our test subjects. When they said yes, none of us quite knew what we were in for. It was POURING rain and cold too. They were troopers and some of them even had fun (you'll see who below). Enjoy!

Erica & Jim - Save the Date - 9/25/10

A few weeks ago Kristiaan and I took a little trip to spend the afternoon with Erica and Jim and got some awesome photos for their Save-the-Date cards. Being a dog lover (*cough* Kristiaan I want a dog!) it was a pleasure for me to mix photography and playing with their awesome Retriever, Poogan. I just love this couples chemistry both on and off camera and cant wait for their E-session and wedding!!

Fashion Bump: Karena

I had the recent pleasure to photograph Karena who totally inspired me to work on a new series called The Fashion Bump. Simply take a bump, dress it up add some glam (makeup by Monaé Artistry) and there you have it! Believe it or not Karena was about 35 weeks pregnant when we shot and expecting her first beautiful baby boy on April 9th!
