Kelly and Lane: Hiking and a Rehearsal in Maine

Photos from our fabulous wedding in Maine are coming soon (very soon)!!! In the meantime, we thought we'd share photos from the day-before-activities. We started by hiking the Great Head Trail in Acadia National Park with Lane and some of the more adventurous guests. The views were spectacular! Later that evening we got to know more family and friends at the rehearsal. Kelly's dad read an excerpt from a book entitled "It Was On Fire When I Lay Down On It" which resulted in a lot of laughter and a few sweet tears. Once again, we were lucky to work with a couple of great families and some crazy friends. The kids tend to be a highlight and there was no exception here. Lane's cousin Jesse made me smile all night. Kelly's niece, Astrid, and nephew, Haakon, were adorable and entertaining as well. We love our job!!!

Apparently, Kelly has a huge thing with Birch trees - she photographs them endlessly - Lane was inspired when he found this odd shaped Birch...
