Myeshi and Kelvin have been our neighbors for a few years now. I met them Nov. 8, 2008 waiting in line for hours, trying to get a post-election newspaper at the local grocery store. I took an instant liking to them as I learned that we have quite a lot in common... 1) Like Lionel and me, they had been recently engaged, 2) Like Lionel, Kelvin proposed with a slideshow, 3) Just like us, they were planning to get married in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico, 4) Kelvin is from the DC area while Myeshi is from Atlanta - she misses her family, but has found much needed love, support and friendship in Kelvin's family. I am from California and have had the same experience with Lionel's family here in Maryland, and 5) they were obviously big enough Obama fans to wait in line for hours for our exciting little slice of history. Are we leading parallel lives or what?! :-)
For their Esession we decided to brave the early morning hours in Georgetown for some fun and intimate shots. Myeshi is all sweetness while Kelvin is a big jokester :). Of course this brought out some beautiful smiles and fun laughs from Myeshi. Check out some of the favorites from the shoot and stay tuned for their July 25th wedding in Cancun Mexico!!
